Every year SISSA signs agreements with summer centres where employees’ children can enrol during the summer, while schools are closed.
A weekly contribution is granted on the basis of the employee’s valid ISEE, for children aged 3 to 14.
To apply, follow the instructions in the notice published in April; the list of employees admitted to the contribution is published in June. All the forms and the list of partner summer centres are published on SISSAnet.
Documents for 2026:
SISSA grants a contribution to support new mothers who are research fellows or PhD students on their return from compulsory maternity suspension (Art. 5 of the Regulation on social welfare benefits).
The contribution is paid monthly from the return from compulsory maternity leave, for a maximum of one year and until the date the child can be placed in the nursery.
It is granted on request, upon presentation of a valid ISEE and completion of the attached form. It is awarded by Director’s decree and paid the month after the request, after the ISEE submitted has been checked.
